Our 2024 Scholars
On Thursday, May 16, 2024, Crete-Monee Alumnus, Amon Jamal Nickerson, presented 10 Crete-Monee High School Scholars from University Park with $2,500 scholarships each, which are renewable for 4 years. This is a $10,000 investment into each one of our scholars’ education. Mr. Nickerson went above and beyond, announcing before the event, that he received a last-minute donation, allowing him to raise the first payment to $3,000 per scholar, adding-on an additional $5,000 investment.
