Annual RUN 4 Meddie 5K Run

NFLF is committed to providing health, wealth, and education resources to underserved communities. Our annual RUN 4 Meddie 5K focuses on heart disease awareness. 

This event is held in memory of Ahmed “Meddie” Nickerson, NFLF President, Amon J. Nickerson's beloved brother, who passed away due to heart complications. 

Participants are encouraged to embrace healthy habits in his honor.

All donations and proceeds received from run merch benefit the Nickerson Family Legacy Foundation Scholarship Fund.

What's your Meddie? What motivates you to do the things you do? What is the desire inside of you that won't allow you to quit? 

We invite you to share your Meddie with us and each other to keep each other focused and motivated to never quit and always strive to be great.

Our Run 4 Meddie family is a vibrant community of individuals, families, youth, and leaders united by a shared commitment to health and wellness. Together, we support each other in adopting healthy habits, all while honoring our mission to keep working hard for Meddie.
